I have a lightened steel fw in my rwd car. It's a bit easier shifting, quicker in 1st and 2nd. Glad I did not get the super lite alum version. Take off with ac on, esp in hilly areas would be uncomfortable.
Some have had good luck with a hard grabby surface on 1 side of disc. A super lite fw and puck style race disc would be bad for street use.
The bigger clutch would be the smoothest path.
