Try this... Posted by Jon [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: try a 3.0bar FPR, fuel chip for ECU, larger i/c ducts? nm, sab, Tue, 18 Sep 2001 21:21:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I suggest, oversized fuel injectors (i have the balanced ones which are a little more expensive) and a 3.3 bar fuel pressure regulator (3.0 works, but 3.3 would eliminate the requirement for buying a new one if you do more tuning) the stuff sab (the other guy who replied) talked about like the ic ducts. Also, if you want something really cool (atleast i think so) get an atmospheric dump valve for the turbo for that woosh sound that rally cars have when you lift off the throttle. Then, there is the upgrade that i love the most, the abbott racing charge cooler (go to http://www.abbottracing.com or in the u.s. http://www.abbottamerica.com) kit, which replaces the current intercooler which kinda sucks, due to its somewhat poor placement and according to them gives a 30 to 60 hp increase, with this you DO need the higher rate fuel pressure regulator. The only problem with the charge cooler is that it cost $1100. i have yet to put my spg on a dyno but i can really feel the difference. i think its worth it. Have fun soopin' up your saab.
