that he had called the police. Right now, it is he said/he said (no she involved!) but it WAS his tire on the road. As far as the insurance thing, and him not having any, well that is just downright illegal. What trucking company was it? He's acting as their agent, so he should be under their insurance, unless he was an independent. What happene to the Bronco in all of this?
You have his plate, and you have the damage to your car. Sounds like the police are willing to work with you. Be patient and keep your head. His insurance company, if he has any, will not want to give you a penny if you call up flamming mad. They've heard that all before.
As far as your SPG being worth $7-10K, well, that's a little wacky. A perfect 87 *might* bring in $6K at the most. The Saabnet classifieds will show you that (this is where collectors come to buy SPGs)
