The day did not start off well.... I went back to my old apartment (moved into a new house this week) abd found 2 UPS delivery attempt notices. I've been waiting for a custom clutch disc to arrive all week. He sent it to the wronng address! Argg. It is Saturday, so I could not go pick it up...

Thankfully, Eric (aka 85SLED, aka Viking Automotive) had ordered a 90-93 turbo Sachs disc for me, just in case. We got that installed quickly (he had already installed the 91 900T flywheel when the wrong disc arrive last week). It does not slip, for now.

The new flywheel is a 9", and the difference is noticeable. Great clamping power, but the extra weight takes longer to get going, and there is some bog on the low end. Once it kicks in and gets going, wow, crazy power. I think the 3.0 Bar FPR and the 30# injectors dump so much fuel in with the flywheel taking longer to spin that the bog is extreme. I have an RRFPR on the way... install next week?

Also installed an intercooler fan from Brad of George's Imports in KC. That little fan moves a great amount of air over the IC! It makes a very noticable difference in performance. Boost levels pre-fan: 20 psi steady, maybe 21 once in a while. Today, in 5th gear, I hit 25 psi, rock solid. 24 psi solid all through 4th, too. Wow. I have insane torque steer in 1st and 2nd. An excellent bolt on. I think I might need to de-tune a bit now... don't need to be blowing up my pistons!
