The Saab T5 ecu's control boost pressure and do not have air mass meters. They can have the boost taken up to near 1 bar with a MBC. Pressures that are too high cause the ecu to cut off fuel by not triggering the injectors. This is a hard abrupt fuel cut.

the Saab T7 ecu's control charge air density, computed with temperature and pressure. They have air mass meters. The throttle bodies are drive by wire, and will close the throttle in response to over boosting. This provides a soft fuel cut. So T7 MBC applications cannot create large increases in power, but can improve spool up and I beleive power in the 1st two gears.

There are some mods that also help, K&N, air box, exhuast and a couple of DIYs to remove flow restrictions.

I think that the two sensors before and after the cat are O2 sensors, not temperature sensors.

On the Saabs, the monfold pressure goes to an absolute pressure sensor which the feeds its signal to the ECU, the ECU controls the boost solenoid valve. The solenoid valve gets pressure from the compressor housing, (not the manifold). That pressure is simply a source of pressure and is not a control point.

The two way activated bypass valve is an interesting feature to remove the turbine flow resistance while on cruise, but that does nothing to dump the combustion air pressure...
