Brad,

This is good stuff.

I see the torque rolling of sooner than I would have expected. Do you know if there is a turbo compressor discharge silencer on this vehicle?

If the throttle body transition casting stock. If not I could swap (temporarily!) mine if you have another dyno run in the future.

Either of these two gross restrictions could be reducing your high end torque. The stock intercooler will of course be heat soaked rather quickly at at 3 gear runs on the wheel dyno. I was thinking that 2nd gear runs might be better for MBC setups. As the MBC setups do not have to go to 3rd gear to get 'full boost', then perhaps the HP and torque would register better as heat soak would be reduced. The time that it takes to get the run completed in 3rd gear seems like a long time and is certainly not representive of the duration of runs on the street. Dyno runs do compromise turbo engines as there are not 100 mph induced winds to cool the IC. So sencond gear runs might remove some of this turbo disadvantage on wheel dynos.

For others.. this 'stock' 99SET has the rear muffler replaced with a section of pipe and the stock resonator is the only silencer. It is not too loud but does sound quite different than a Sports exhaust as the long straight pipe does tune for some frequencies that gives it a characterist sound.

As for water injection. Any danger if you run out of fluid? Loss of power or danger? You could have an interlock so that the low fluid sensor would cut the signal to the PPC valve. Down to base boost. That that would feel strange!
