Hey, Mike. Thanks for keeping us posted. It's great to have volunteers to experiment for us. We await continued reports.
Question about the wastegate. From an earlier post of your brother's, I got the idea that this was not a wastegate per se but a wastegate actuator. I.e., something that would keep the wastegate closed until a specified pressure had been reached. Can you clarify which it is?
Your post also suggests that the Trent wastegate doesn't seem too easy to adjust, hence your conclusion that it will be necessary to back off tuning somewhat to avoid overboost. Please post an update on this issue after you have experimented, to let us know whether there were other solutions.
The RRFPR: does it replace the fixed FPR, or does it install in series and take over when extra fuel is needed? Post comments, too, on ease/difficulty of installation.
(Lots of requests without even a six pack!! But rest assured, we await further news and toast to your success.)
Cheers!
Jim Watts
