If u want to avoid warping, don't let pad/rotor surfaces degrade, evenly torque wheels, and don't do a real hard stop and then immediately keep foot hard on brake .. or apply front e-brake. also check Baer brakes site on how to break in new rotor.
cross drilled is for show, and only used on superspeedways to lighten rotors when very little braking is used. never used for hard braking track events.
I inspected this front runner race car (link) when it was taken out of the trailer after last race. Speedvision rules limits rotors to stock dia and width. The rotors were only grooved, no holes, for optimum performance at typical brake intensive tracks. They use track-only Hawk 'blue' pads.
