While a significantly lightened flywheel has benefits in racing applications, for street use, you give up more than you gain. The performance advantage is minimal and is mostly in the in the upper rev range. It makes clutch operation a bit more difficult because an engine with a lightened flywheel stalls more easily when pulling away from a stop.
On the other hand, a more precisely balanced flywheel that is still close to stock weight may have some benefit. But the cost vs performance benefits may be better utilized in another area such as intake or exhaust tuning.
