The toughest part of installing the boost gauge on the '97 900 SET Coupe Talladega was routing the feed hose from the engine compartment into the cabin. I found the wiring harness port between the interior and exterior fuseboxes under the dash. With a very small screwdriver -- the kind used for electronics/computers, I poked through the rubber grommet from the inside. You have to be extremely careful here to not chafe the wires. If you do you in deep kimche.

I struggled for most of the day trying to feed the hose from the inside of the cabin through the hole into the engine compartment. Just can't get my hand in there.

Luckily the AutoMeter hose is a very small diameter stiff nylon hose. Once I found the hole looking from the engine compartment I fed from that direction. Went in with no problem.

Dean, I used your advice and connected the lighting to the rheostat and grounded to the ground block found low on the A pillar. The pod looks good, however there is still a gap I think I may be able to inprove/eliminate.

I tapped a T fitting off of the BOV, which in my opinion isn't the right thing to do, but I wanted to verify the gauge was at least getting a reading. It showed maybe a 12 psi peak, when I know I'm at 15 at least. The fitting on the T end isn't the best in the world. I'll move to another source and also find a better way of connecting. The nylon hose just isn't conducive to the heavier hoses on the Saab. I need to find an adapter or perhaps a brass T with the stem threaded. The AutoMeter kit came with a brass threaded ferrule, but I have nothing to connect that fitting to.

In any case, am about 97% complete. Works well, just need to do some cleanup and re-dress the hoses and wires. Interior looks great -- just got to improve upon the pod that ARM sent.
