friend has looked into a nitrous system which charges a custom sized ring which mounts on the forward part of the ic. the ring sprays nitrous onto the ic and freezes it when activated. could be set up for wot. nitrous is triggered at wot and the ic is frozen by the time turbo lag is overcome for full boost. course, like any nitrous system you would need the controlling system. but, the wot trigger can be mechanically mounted on the throttle body.
i'm not going this route, but it is another option for cooling the ic.
