Thanks for the info. I didn't realize it was based on a whole different chassis. Opel ='s GM so that makes sense.
I'm not really looking for a track killer in the "newer" car. I have my SE-R for that which it does in spades.
I would just want to make 250-275hp and have a decent daily driver. However one of the things that makes me interested in the Saab is the brick house chassis. If you say the NG is not that same car, maybe I will look to Audi or VW for a turbo 4 cyl. :-(
Then again, I guess I could get a newer G20/Primera which has the Nissan SE-R driveline in a 300lb heavier chassis which was designed for the BTCC along with the very trick front suspension. Then I'll have to turbo it though just like the SE-R. Blah...
