I live in Denmark, and since it's only a couple of hours drive to their main shop, we had it done there. The upgrade consisted of a BPC-valve (since the car was 2.0LPT) and new ECU software that was just uploaded to the ECU.
I'm sorry to say that I have no idea what the EGT is, but it's probably a bit high since it's still running with stock downpipe and exhaust. I would recommend you get a bigger downpipe and freer flowing cat with an ECU upgrade, especially with the 2.3T as it develops more power and thus heat.
I don't think that there is a big difference between the swedish tuners and you should just pick the one that has the best price and service, combined with the performance you want.
