The LH 2.2 system has a special fuel map that only kicks in during full load. If you disable the full-throttle switch (I guess this is what you asked if you could do... right?) this map wouldn't be used, which would decrease the fuel on full load significantly.
I would really recommend a re-mapped ECU together with the injectors.
