For those who do not live in the Baltimore Washington area today was a ugly day, mostly rain.
On the way home I was merging onto I-95 and noticed a new S4 in the right lane. I did what most of us would do and passed the car thinking nothing about it. Then about two miles down the road and notice behind me the S4 screaming up at around 80mph and climbing so I decided to join in. I shifted into third when the car was about three car lengths behind me but the S4 never got more then two car lenghts in front of me and we where going at around 100+. I was pretty impressed that one my tires held to the road so well and that it was keeping up with the S4. The next thing I noticed the S4 driver decided to slow down to around 70. Well I then decided to do the same but behind the car never passing him but I was in forth gear at the time and about a car length behind him. I then hear him down shift but I was already in forth gear one step ahead of him. I step on the gas expecting the S4 to take off but to put up a good fight. Instead of falling behind my Saab stayed right on his ass about 1-2 car length behind. I then hear him down shift again only to find myself still right on his ass still in forth gear. I know then that he knew that the Saab could beat him. I then assumed that he either switch lanes or give a thumbs up but instead I recieved the pissed off rear foglight of a new S4 or was that $4.
