Broken down after SQR ECU upgrade, lesson learned!

Well, I was cruising along the freeway last night, enjoying my Strömqvist upgrade, shifted to 5th and flooredit...pllllhhhhphhh!!!... no power, engine bucking like crazy! OK, shift back to 4th, same thing. I pull over, the car is idling at 2500RPM and hunting up and down like mad. HMmm, open the hood, the increased boost blew one of the crappy old rubber vacuum hose grommets right from the manifold, out onto the hiway .
Damn! Luckily, a good samaritan pulls over after 10 minutes, and happens to have some 1" hose which I fold up a length of and cram into the opening. Disconnect the APC solenoid and drive carefully to the shop, where I buy a complete set of new grommets for the manifold. I'm sure they were laughing as I drove home.
So, if you're going to boost the boost, be sure to replace all the old rubber parts on the intake side of the motor! ( or keep a few spares in the glove-box!)
