I've seen where people shorten the rod in the distributer to get more retard at boost. Would this help or just add problems? I'm fairly happy with this setup so far but anything I can do to increase power without spending loads of cash would be great. This car will be a daily driver that the wife will drive on occasion so it has to be reliable. I'm not going to step it up to the level of needed aftermarket timing, H2O injection or 3-D stand alone engine management. Just a mildly modded/well tuned driver.
Thanks for the advice.
