I'm not familiar with the details of Hirsch's deal with GM, but it will be for new cars, not aftermarket work. Brabus still does M-B stuff even with AMG on board (I don't think AMG does any aftermarket M-B stuff now), BMW has M in-house, yet there is no lack of market for Schnitzer, Dinan, Jim COnforti, and a gazillion others, Audi has it's S-division, and TAP, Neuspeed and God knows who else. Hirsch versions won't come cheap, and there will always be people who like to tinker and do their own thing. IMHO, there will be more interest in tuning SAABs now that hot versions are coming from the factory, and the other companies may actually do more business than they otherwise would have done.
