If you increase P2/P3 in the APC box, essentially you are telling the APC to allow more stress in th engine and hence more boost of the Turbo. If the FPR cannot maintain enough pressure differential between manifold and fuel in the injector rail, chances are, the overall stochiometry will start to tend towards stochiometry from the usually rich side. Temps go up and thermal failure ( read: meltdown) will result. This is why a mild tweak required 2.8 to 3 bar and anything more requires a RRFPR where the regulator progressively increases the fuel-manifold pressure differential with increasing manifold (=turbo) pressure. Hence the acronym RRFPR Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator. Just search around this board on these topics and you will become an expert! This is also why some people that run very tweaked cars will either have EGT and/or stoichiometry gauges. Either one of them will tell you whether enough fuel is supplied. Adirect fuel pressure regulator is of help too of course..
