What is it with wives? I have the same problem here...and there's nothing described in the service manual to fix the problem :)
300hp? Wow! You gonna have some FFUUUUNNNNN boy-o! Yeah - I agree..these cars are damn collectable. If I don't watch out I'm going to run out of room in my backyard soon. We now have three Saabs....and I have my eye on a few more....damn...they are just so cheap for the older models.
SAB, loSAB, loTroll and myself spent a weekend together a couple of weeks ago with the silver sleds and also had a new 9-3 Aero graciously donated by Saab Australia for the weekend. It was a great car to drive. It just did it too well though. The push in the back was totally linear...there was no angry rush like we get in the 900 Aero's. Nothing squeaked or rattled iether...so we didn't know it was moving along unless we kept an eyeball on the speedo! :)
I really like the shape of the 9-5. Fine looking car. It has more "Saab" personality than did the 9000 though....IMHO. I'm looking forward to getting the 9K on the road...there are plenty of repairs to do to the front end before I can feel confident and register it.
Anyways...have fun too!
Maybe chain the wife up in a cupboard for the weekend? ;)
Chris
