Thought I'd post this up here as the thread below will soon fall away.
Kooch - which EFI are you going to use? I'm currently bogged down with the last two months of school here, so not much will be happening. That said, my engine builder has cut the valve reliefs in my new JE pistons, and the new pins spec'd for a big block Chev are ready to go. They had to use larger pin bushings though, by a reputable company called Eagle (which I've never heard of, but supposed to be good, says my engine builder).
I got my old block back and today mounted it on my engine stand. Soon I will get around to fabricating the SDS crank sensor bracket, but at this juncture, academics are foremost in my mind, followed by applications for articling...so I figure I will start in earnest on the car in May. Until then, unfortunately, I'll just be doing bits and pieces of work here and there. Did look into powdercoating my modified rad support though.
Anyway, here's a pic. Found it on a Swedish site. It's a crazy ass 5-door with custom rear tail lights, apparently from an Audi. There are also large hood scoops. In the bay I see stand alone, MBC, headers, nice FMIC install, and a big downpipe. Oh, and 8 injectors, wish I could see this thing up close.
