nice. i think you're right on with your choice. it only makes sense if something is that close for support and experience with the system. like i said before, that's one of my main driving forces for choosing the wolf for me. the main point is that we know enough to go aftermarket for true control. i'm anxious to see how your's turns out. i am loosing my clutch a little now, so i may go up to the 9000 aero clutch for the mean time so i don't have problems on the dyno (less harsh than the road though, might be ok). the quartermaster clutches that are being worked on now sound good, but not in the budget right now (i had to spring for new tires all the way around today). i don't think my old tires would get me to whistler and back next week. after i get back, i'll probably move on the system. i can already feel the smoothness of power....

the wolf system can go with a crank mounted sensor or it can use the hall sensor. for now i'll go with the hall sensor since it is the easiest, and the crank requires some modification to the pulley. i'll also stay with stock dist and plugs, i can always shift to points later on, but no need to get running in the right direction. once i get so spark plugs and the hall sensor are my limiting factors, i'll know i'm heading the right direction... from the sounds of it, i'll be able to do a lot of the tuning myself. hook everything up, the guys will give me the maps from a 2.0l turbo porsche they have and it should get me running. then i drive a little, download the data log and make adjustments to dial it in. only thing i'm considering is a wide band o2 sensor, but they are so damn pricey. fine tuning therefore will have to wait for the dyno.

anyway, keep me posted on your project, i'll keep you in the loop on mine.
