APC BEWARE (long)

Had a little problem with the old 900t. It was a intermitant problem. Certain devices for the APC would not work at diffrent times. Such as apc solinoid and other things like Turbo shut down under low boost. Anyway i was searching around yesterday expecting broken wires. I traced everthing back to the apc. All wires were good. So i plugged in the apc and all was ok, went to install it back onto the fender withit plug in and turned on. As it was going into place i heard the apc solinoid turn on off many times. rechecked the cable connection to the apc. it was ok. So i removed the apc and heard a noise from the inside. So i took it apart. now i got a stage 2 apc modified by a reputable company. When i took the apc apart i found a small ballbearing sized solder ball floating around in the box. I checked a ll the new solder joints on the cards and all was ok. so i put everything back together and retested the unit and no more problems. after a test run all is still ok. The little solder ball was fall ing to the bottom of the apc box and was creating havoc on the sensor devices. So i guess what i'm saying is that after a year i finally found my intermittant problem, and also watch out on some of the apc mods that you get from a aftermarket company. Ijust had to write about this because it was causing much grief in mine and my cars life.
