hello,
like all of us, we are not wealthy. this is what i would do if i were you, and try to put it in your mind to do an upgrade every month so that it will not get to expensive. i have listed the order that you should take.
1st: k & n air filter. easy to do. swedish dynamics
2nd: magnecore ignition wires.swedish dynamics
3rd: higher fuel presuure regulator. i have a 900, so i do not know which one comes on your 9000. swedish dynamics or spg9
4th: high performance fuel injectors. spg9 or swedish dynamics
5th: make sure you have the correct ngk spark plugs. there are ones for city stop and go traffic and ones for mostly higway driving.
6th: apc box from spg9 or swedish dynamics.
and the list goes on and on. go to swedish dynamics and spg9's sites and you will get good technical advice. in fact, swedish dynamics has a page that will tell you where and how to start.
remember, if you are like me and will keep the car for a long time, and you are on a budget.....get one item each month and you will continuously upgrade your 9000.
having the wastegate actuator turned clockwise 1/2 to 1 full turn will help boost. talk to dave at spg9. most saab independent mechanics do not want to do this because they do not know what they are doing. go to a mechanics that only does saabs.....period. my mechanic in roswell,ga.....sovereign automotive did it for me for $35. i hope this helps.
