The stock fuel systems on 9kT's are pretty good, and you can safely elevate the boost level using a manual boost control (~$50-$75). I would not crank it up very much (no more than 1/2 into the red) without a boost gauge and some fuel system mods. However 13-15 psi max boost will make a big difference in performance and should not affect reliability. Put on a RRFPR (maybe some injectors...) and give her 20psi!!
