Your 60kv coil does not necessarily produce 60kv every spark; it will produce only enough voltage to junp the gap. Whether it is compatible with your ignition system, I have no idea. Amperage and impedence will determine the longevity of your system.
Will 60kv improve performance? Only if that much voltage is required to ignite the combustion process.
