at this point Im pretty sure....... Posted by jak [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: fueling test results 2.5barfpr s & amm mod (long), Kevin K ![]() |
the mapped fuel curve at wot is based on an amm input this is partly from what I saw & another on this BB used apotentiometer on the orange wire & the more resistance he put on the more o2 voltage droped which makes perfect sence to me & if you use a resister to close down the PW you are doing 2 mods that work against each other the only thing Im not sure about is if a resister will allow more current flow at higher voltages IE 300 ohms with 1v flowing through might make a .2v drop but at 3v there may be a .1v drop or that because the voltage is higher the .2 drop becomes less impactive on the return signal Ill have to look into that I still think the resister mod is a bad idea mike 9 says it works well on some & not others because some use frequency & others use a dc voltage I dont know which uses what & on what it works best
as for o2 voltage for the purpose of what I did it was acurate enough I understand looking at o2 voltage as an acurate AF refrence is a bit silly in extreme high boost situations due to posable excessive heatIll do more testing when I get the RRFPR on but I wont solder another resister in because I put a new amm plug on soldered & shrink tubed & dont want to disturb my excelent repair.
take care all
