Another goody that the same company sells are EProm programmers. I'm not absolutely sure they sell the right programmer for the right chip though; I'm inquiring on that at the moment. The cost for their universal programmer w/ software is 1200US. It seems a little expensive to go that route but most aftermarket FI systems are in that price range and this way you wouldn't have to do all the wiring and finding baselines since you could probably work off their existing fuel maps.
I found this place when I was searching for visual knock detecting electronics. They have a nice unit that looks like it uses the Bosch knock sensor. Cost is 300.00 but I think it would definitely be worth it for tuning my LPT.
