Many independent shops have a TechII. I only wish the local guy wouldn't include the mechanic every time I want to use it.....
I'm not sure what model / year you have. Traditional knowledge is that you need a TechII to program the immobilizer for the 9-3 and 9-5 when swapping the TWICE / MIU / T7. I seem to recall reading somewhere in the shop manual that this didn't apply to the OBDII (read US) version of the car. On the other hand maybe I was just dreaming I read it.
