Hey Vince.

I'm pretty sure they will work in the front, but the rear could be another story. The rear end floats around a little bit, so you need clearance for that factor. A 16x7 42mm would definitely not fit the rear. The problem is in the spring seat on the control arm and the middle of the support arm. The 42's might even be to close to the upper shock mount part of the fenderwell; the tire will be centered further inside the fenderwell. Using the 42 will limit you to a 205 most definitely.

A 33-40mm w/ axle relocation (16-17x6-7) is all I'll suggest. The lower half of the range, preferrably 33mm, will allow the rim to be more flush w/ the fenderlip and allow a larger tire(possibly a 225). The uper half of the range will sit the rim farther in and will only allow a 215 series to fit. Now, when I state tire sizes I mean the actual has to be very close, a 225 has to be a 223-227 not a 231.

Oh and all this information applies to a lowered car w/ negative camber in the front(0.5-1.0).
