I retro fit saab bars and bushings in my 83T, dramatic lean reduction and better turn in / less understeer. Still smooth on rough roads. Best 1st step, esp if u find used set. check 'links' in box below for saab's retro fit instructions.
could also get base model front springs from a M88+, they should drop front about 3/4".
lowering with stiffer springs is best way to really improve cornering capacity. big bars with stiff bushings will degrade basic suspension function by reducing the independence at ea corner.
