Hey everyone
I just had some Intrax lowering springs installed on my 1990 SPG yesterday. Sits much lower and seems to actually drive smoother. Very tight around corners. I'm impressed ( :
#1---
Looks like I'm going to be getting a new set of tires as my Yokohamas (205/60/15) seem to be losing their tread. Will 205/60/15 be ok with my current 15" SPG wheels? Or is 205 too wide of a tire? Especially now that it's lowered.
#2---
I'm looking into some Ronal wheels. 15". I really like the "LW" and "LS" models.
http://www.ronalusa.com/wheels.html
They look like rally/touring style wheels, which is the overall look I'm going for, hence the lowering. Will those two models fit my car? They have both models availble in 15x7.5" and 4x108 bolt pattern. I'm thinking if I already have the 205/60/15 tires, they will slip right on a 15x7.5" wheel since 205 is slightly wider than OEM spec (195/60/15).
#3---
Lastly... with a 15x7.5" Ronal wheel (later this summer) and a 205/60/15 tires on my SPG wheels (for now), will I run into any rubbing issues?
I haven't had any rubbing yet with my Intrax springs and my Yokohama 205/60/15 tires, after driving pretty harsh for one day (over potholes, speedbumps, etc). About 200 miles yesterday with no rubbing. It only has been one day though. I usually only have 1 passenger in the car, but mainly it's just me.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks alot!
Taylor
