There is a turbo discharge silencer inserted into the aluminum tube that goes from the turbo to the intercooler. You can remove it now, or wait and remove it while fitting a Viggen intercooler.
The throttle body transistion casting in stock form has a severe square edged ID reduction where it couples to the 2" aluminum tube that comes from the intercooler. This need to be ground out. It is a very significant improvement.
Did you send this casting in with your throttle body to be reworked?
I think that you need to get a AF mixture meter in place when you get the new turbo.
Some of us have fitted external boost contollers. But we are stuck with the fuel cut pressure in the stock or modified ECU's. I think that the Abbott ECU would allow you to achieve your boost target. The big issue is that without some boost pressure reduction in 1st gear, you have to be very careful with the throttle.
Sounds like you will be going to the strip. But watch that you don't get a larger turbo that makes your Saab a dog on the streets.
