Having had great fun with a 9K Aero Auto seeing off all-comers I looked forward to more comfort 15% more bhp and 20%+ more torque.
Short test drive confirmed off-the-line performance fine - not quite as pokey as expected but hey this had only 6k miles on the clock, I was used to a loose 100k. Didn't have much time so placed the order (couldn't go wrong with that engine spec)
Took her out on the motorway(freeway) and went for the crucial 70-90 mph test. Flooring the throttle it drops to 3rd but with less than 4k revs (70=3200 revs crusing) wher was the urgency? About 7 seconds it takes. The 9K Aero would do this in <5.5. Great in 2nd (to 80), but 3rd/4th a bit of a let-down. No longer king of the motorway I fear. Roll on a 5 speed auto.
