I had a different experience when I had my exh. system put on. I noticed an immediate performance gain. You can feel the low end power (everything below 3k rpm) increase in my car even before you go over 1-2 lbs of boost. This is what I noticed the first day with my system. I have a different set-up than you though. I went with a magnaflow muffler. The other thing that I simply cannot agree with is staying with a stock system up to 225hp. I am not quite sure where you got that info from but I don't see how it makes sense. All you have to do is listen to a stock system at 10 lbs of boost and 4500 rpm, you will hear the sound of the gasses leaving the exhaust louder than the sound of the engine through the exhaust. It is really unable to breathe. This is at levels way below 225hp. Also, exhaust is one of the things that I did first to allow for greater airflow. You must be able to accomodate greater boost before you try pushiung it through an air system that has trouble supporting stock levels of boost. This is the theory I that have abided by. Anyway, you have to admit that you gained more from the exhaust system than by just putting a steel tip at the end of a stock system, right :-) HAVE FUN and take care of that red paint. There aren't many of us around these days.
