Look into MSD. With the 6-BTM, you get multiple discharge capacitive discharge sparking. That means five sparks over 20 deg. of crankshaft rotation per cylinder below three thousand RPM. Above 3K, it is a single, longer lasting (compared to stock) spark. All of this promotes complete combustion which makes your engine more efficient. The BTM (boost timing master) allows for timing retard based on boost. This prevents detonation and is fully adjustable. Go to MSD's website for more. You can buy the 6-BTM from summit racing for about $320. There are many people here that have done MSD with great results. With the BTM, there is no need for AID like the kind SPG9 sells. If you go with ind. engine managment, you won't need the BTM but the MSD 6 is still worth looking into.
