Hi everyone--
I bought a performance muffler for my Saab. It is like an import muffler, and i'm actually hoping for that sound- heh. Anyways heres the question...
To get a good, deep sound, do i need to take off both mufflers in my c900s? I know theres a rear, front, and CAT. I don't want to take the cat off because i need to pass emissions in a couple months. By taking both mufflers off, and replacing with straight pipe, and then the new performance muffler on the end, would this have a nice sound to it? I really don't want it to be quiet, and don't care too much about performance, so would this do the trick, AND pass emissions???
Well thanks for all your help in advance guys. Also, do you feel minakee is qualified to deal with saabs? I really don't want to go back to my saab mechanic for this. He likes to charge quite a bit. Thanks again.
-Chris
PS... heres the muffler below. An HPracing 50-m23.
