It's not about psi. It's not about boost. What the heck are you trying to accomplish here? Do you wanna drag your car? Do you wanna take it to the track? Do you want better passing/cruising/driving? We kinda need to know what you plan to do with your car before anyone can offer any advice.

As for reliability, a motor is a motor. It can have zero miles or 3,000,000 miles. Built right and maintained ... any motor can still blow up pretty much at any moment. Bad wrist pin, flaw in the head gasket, whatever. Bottom line is the more you expect out of your engine and drivetrain the sooner either or both will give up the ghost. Don't put dime one into mods unless you are ready (and able) to deal with catastrophic failure. People on this board have dropped multi-thousands of dollars on their engines only to have them explode the first time out. Others have barely exceeded their daily ATM limit *buying* their car and ended up with long-lasting, reliable cars. You just don't know the hand you've been dealt until it's too late... :)

My advice is to start small. Power is addictive. 300hp is nothing to a guy that drives a Dodge Viper, and everything to a guy who drives a Suzuki Swift. Get your car running and handling to your satisfaction then slowly add power. Good exhaust, good ignition, proper fuel. *Then* add boost. You can probably net 10-20hp without ever touching your APC box if everything else is in order. That's my advice, FWIW....
