I am no expert, but from what the engineer at Hirsch explained to me, the T2small turbo creates lots of heat really fast. Going beyond the EGT he set my car to run, the heat can actually back up into the cylinders and cause power loss even though the boost pressure is greater. So, those higher boost numbers probably give much higher torque numbers but not exactly higher hp. That would be the reason a better flowing turbo should give me even more hp without raising boost pressure. Also, the boost was almost doubled over stock. Stock 1999 9-3S models are only 7 psi stock and therefore 13 psi is quite an increase. oh, and I forgot to mention the Viggen intercooler. Sorry.
Have fun!
