How are you getting these readings? Are you locking the nuts/washers on the set screw correctly?
I run this set up (on LH 2.2) and my idle is just fine (as you know). RRFPR is set to 3.3 with vac. disconnected. Something is up with the mixture. Your 02 sensor could be wacky, too.
I've never done the resistor-on-the-amm trick, so I've no suggestions there. Brad knows what he is talking about, though.
