background

about three weeks ago I had my local dealer install springs and shocks, the VRK and the viggen intercooler on my 95 900SE. The car also has a 3" downpipe and 2.5" cat back and runs an Abbott ECU for the last few years.

On the way home from the dealer I cranked the boost and this were great (boosting half into the red) until the intercooler discharge hose separated from the metal pipe going to the throttle body. The mechanic had lengthened the hose using a short piece of pipe and hose however it was too short for the clamp to bite and poppped off several timesover the next few days, no matter how hard I tightened the clamp. I got the proper discharge hose last week and installed it correctly. Now the car is not boosting properly

problem description

When I floor it WOT at say 3000, the boost is slow to build...steadily increasing to the yellow/red transition at say 4500 rpm....the boost needle sort of hesitates and then starts to rise never actually going into the red. The engine sound OK, it is just lacking boost and power.

Normally when I floor it at 3000 rpm the boost is almost immediate to 50%+ in the red zone and then slow taper as the revs climb.

What is wrong???

I have checked

1) all hosing and clamps from turbo to throttle body

2) the three line around the BCP

3)the vaccuum line from the dump valve to the throttle body

and can't find anything wrong???

sparkplugs were new 4000 miles ago

any thoughts wouyld be appreciated

Thanks
JohnB
