While I'd be the first to admit that Mustangs can be made to go quite fast, so can any other car. Mustangs try to tangle with me on a weekly basis and as I said in the previous post I've only been beaten once, and it was quite obviously moderately modded. They're relatively heavy and naturally aspirated. They may be rear-wheel but that doesn't help after about the first second. I've had a modded Mustang GT jump on me by about 50 feet off the line, and by the middle of third I was passing him. It wasn't a measured 1/4 mile but I think I would've beaten him by almost half a second. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging, my car is quick but I'd hardly consider it "fast." I'm just saying that I think Mustangs are like Camaros, they're poor mans' sports cars. They are loud inside, and have low visibility. I don't find them very comfortable either. But I digress, this is all just my personal opinion.
