1) Rules are basic in this class. If it is not stock, it is not legal, but... it ain't cheatin' unless you get caught! We are allowed 1" tip RF only, 4Pt. roll cage/safety equipment. 1 size difference staggar right side to left. 65 series only. I run 185 LF, 195 RF, RR, LR. 1-3/4" staggar up front, 0 in rear.
2) Get rid of the front sway bar and keep the rear? Really??
3)Have not scaled the car, but she is pretty well stripped with the exception of some wires and dash junk that is a bitch to take out when your my size. Left side weight is healthy as I tip the scales at 345.
4) I'm running a 5 speed tranny with 4 speed gears in the transfer case. I run the car in third gear. Turns 6000-6100 going into the turn and down to about 5000 before I'm back on the gas.
5) I'm running a 2.1L block that has been bored and decked. Had to shave the pistons flat to avoid interference. Have not had a chance to check compression. Placed an 8 valve head on top with a modified cam shaft. Running an old style fuel injector system (manual adjustments, no computer stuff!) to avoid the rev limiter and the fact that I'm running the 8 valve head.
6) Differential is not locked (never thoughht of that).
7)Stock springs rear with rubbers removed. Stock spring left front with SPG spring in RF.
8) Don't have ready access to pyrometer, but I'll try to get some readings on Friday night. RF heats up good, obviously more on the outside than inside. RR is not as warm, but hottest on outer bead. LR doesn't do a thing, LF heats up pretty even, but only gains 2-3 lbs pressure during the race.
