you will know if the clutch is slipping by getting into the power, the revs climb as speed increases and then the revs will suddenly jump and the car won't speed up any more. if you are just getting an increase in boost but no increase in power, then you may have a timing or fueling issue. if timing is retarded too much, you can get all the boost in the world but not get any more power. if the clutch is slipping, you'll know it. you'll hear it, then there will be the smell...
