don't screw with the stock system if you are looking for 250. seriously. sure, you can tweak a moped so it can do 45 mph maxed out, but wouldn't you rather be on a 250cc or larger, knowing that 45 mph wasn't its limit? if you go stay with the stock system, you will need larger injectors, rrfpr, upgraded apc, timing control (msd btm or aid), etc. to get 250. and you will be at the limit of the stock system. if you go with an aftermarket ecu, you will not need any of that, and you will get more power. fwiw, i got 213 at the wheels with only 13 psi of boost with an aftermarket ecu. and that was with a fat fuel curve and a conservative timing curve. imagine where it will be when boost is cranked to 20 psi... just a few thoughts. if you are patient and are going to take the time to make changes, do it right. wait a little longer, and dump the money into an aftermarket ecu. you'll be much happier.
