tried w-w on my SPG

I was running a small custom radiator and had temperature creep during days
with temps over 80F. Putting in water wetter did not change anything that
I could tell. What did work was cutting vent slots in the front air dam so
that the radiator could get some air! On track days I pull off the front
bumper - its an '86 so only 2 bolts and yank.
The w-w is only a surfactant - meaning that when treated with this chemical,
water will not bead up on a surface - the surface tension is reduced so it
will spread out smoothly and "wet" the surface. This is the same term and
meaning as when soldering metals together and you want the solder to "wet"
the base metals. In the cooling system you *theoretically* get better
heat transfer to/from the water.
