I'm not very knowledgable on Mitsubishi products, other than I just would love to have a Lancer Evolution VI... :)
I have a T3-60 on my SPG, sourced from Turbonetics. I would have gone for their Super-60, but at the time, I had blown up the stock turbo and wanted to be back on the road soon - and the Super 60s were 3 weeks away. I think the difference between the two is marginal, the Super is a bit larger on the compressor side, and I would have gotten one but for the delay. Lag wise...with 3" turbo back exhaust, no cat, spool up is decent. It cannot match a T25 spool up like on a later model 9000, but the 60 more than makes up for it at the top end. I found the stock turbo to run out of steam around 4500-5000, but the 60 pulls nicely to redline.
Personally, I felt a T3/T4 hybrid might be a bit too much on the compressor side, too much lag, especially on a car that does not have extensive modifications. Perhaps with my stand alone install, I could handle a T3/T4 but I dunno just yet. For me, the 60 provides a nicely balanced package.
