When I took my car on the track....

It was an average day of about 80 degrees outside.
The biggest problem I had was braking on the track. I just couldn't stop like the 9-5 Aero's. Go Figure!
I was using stock rotors, metal master pads, and Castrol Syntethic Brake Fluid.
The brakes held up very well considering everything. I just started stopping sooner and didn't press super hard on the pedal. Next time, I would definately like to have some better brakes on the car. It would have been much more fun to be able to brake hard.
The other thing that was scary was the engine oil temperatures. I was using 10w-30 Mobil 1. The engine oil temp was around 240 degrees after my 20 minute session. When I went onto pit lane, my oil pressure light started to go off. I guess at 800 rpm, the oil was to thin to create 7psi of oil pressure. When I gassed it up to 1500 rpm, the pressure was fine.
I would definately consider using a heavier oil during the track time.
Most of the time I was pushing 4,000-6,000 rpm.
