Hi !
The sensor before the throttle is being used to calculate the density of the air before the throttle.(pressure and temp = density)
The density will make a correction in the throttle area controller.
If the density is low, a greater throttle opening is needed, to give the engine the correct airmass/combustion.
The pressure sensor after the throttle is a MAP sensor, used for calculating the airmass at transients, since it´s closer to the engine.
Between the airmass meter and the engine, there are quite a few litres of air, which will cause a delay in the reading, at transients.
