I tested my boost retard tonight and I am only getting like 2-3 degrees at 10psi. (See post on C900 board). The actuator holds vaccumm and boost, but I am not getting much retard.

So I disconnected the actuator to take a look. With the actuator off of the distributor, the arm is almost right against the stop. 2 psi of boost and it hits the stop. Vaccuum will pull the arm back quite far, but with no vaccumm or boost, it is almost right against the stop. I am thinking that this is my problem. It is was supposed to be the better actuator to match my red box APC also.

Is this actuator shot? Can it be fixed? I really don't won't to buy AID for $200. If this one is shot I will try a used one and modify the stop, I guess.

Any ideas?
